Police are investigating after a woman reportedly saw a man indecently expose himself as she was walking towards Kings Langley.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says the incident occurred along the canal tow path in the field between Lawn Lane and Durrants Hill Road in Hemel Hempstead.
A woman was walking along the path when she saw a man in some bushes on the opposite side of the canal.
He is reported to have exposed himself and was believed to be touching himself inappropriately.
He is described as white, aged around 30 to 35 years old, of average build, approximately 6ft tall, with blond hair.
Police say he was wearing a black face mask.
PC Jake Smith, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen someone matching this description to please contact police. I’d also like to hear from anyone else who may have information which could assist our ongoing enquiries.”
