The Range has welcomed its first customers into its new store in Watford.
Store manager Peter Izzard was invited to cut the ribbon at 9am today, marking a new era for the home, leisure and garden retailer in Watford after its move across town.
The Range can now be found at Watford Arches Retail Park, inside the former Mothercare unit.
The current store in St Albans Road will close on July 4 with the site near Watford Junction to be redeveloped later into flats.
Initially, customers will be able to shop some of their most loved Range products in the Arches store but there are plans to further extend it into the neighbouring B&Q Trade unit later this year.
This will give the opportunity to provide more products across 16 departments in the store and add an outdoor garden centre and Iceland supermarket section.
Staff have transferred over from the St Albans Road store, including manager Mr Izzard, with full-time and part-time jobs also created in store management, on the shop floor, and in the warehouse.
The store opening times at Watford Arches will be Monday to Saturday 9am-8pm and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
