The following announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week:

DONALD KENNTH COXON (known as Don) – Don died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday 15th June 2021 aged 87. Don has been a wonderful husband to Margaret for 62 years, a much loved dad to Sandra and Linda and the dearest of grandads to Hannah, Chris, Eleanor, Harry, and Florence, and a good friend to many.

PETER GLOVER – Sadly passed away on Friday 4th June 2021, aged 61 years. A caring and much loved Husband, Dad and Grandad who will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

JAMESON John “J” – Sadly passed away 8th June 2021. J will be missed by Jackie and all the family.

JOHN MARK LONG – John of Tibshelf, Derbyshire (formerly of Goral Mead, Rickmansworth and Balmoral Road, Watford) died peacefully in hospital on Sunday 6th June 2021. John was lovingly supported at home by family and a wonderful team of Carers, whom the family would like to thank for all his care.

MESSENGER Joy Elizabeth – Sadly passed away 16th June 2021, aged 90 years. A beloved Mum, Nanny and Auntie. Now reunited with her late Husband Vic.

STATON Leslie ‘Les’ – Sadly passed away on 12th June 2021, aged 97. Les was a much-loved brother & uncle & will be sadly missed by all his family & friends.

PETER SWAIN OBE – Died 18-6-21 aged 75. Peter suffered a terrible accident aged 19, leaving him quadriplegic. He was awarded an OBE for services to the disabled. Peter will be missed by Sylvia, his carer for 45 years and his many friends.

Robert Edward Voyce ‘Bob’ – 30 October 1947 to 13 June 2021. Died peacefully at home. Husband of Susan, father to Steve and Barrie, and grandad to Patrick, Finn, Emily and Katy. Brother, uncle and friend. Loved by all who knew him.
