A biker managed to escape police after they tried to stop him during a pursuit.
Officers are now trying to find the rider, who had put “himself and other road users at risk” during the pursuit, the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire (BCH) Road Policing Unit said.
The pursuit started when a bike passed officers on the M1 in Watford and failed to stop when requested to do so.
Shocking footage from the road policing unit shows officers chased the biker on the A41 towards the Hartspring roundabout before exiting at Hartspring Lane.

The biker is then captured driving down the wrong side of the road in order to escape police.
Police say the same bike did not stop for officers two months ago – the bike was pursued to Riverside Road Skate Park where it passed through pedestrian barriers.
A tweet from the BCH policing unit today said: “Bike passed us then failed to stop when we wanted to discuss his lack of documents and tiny plate. Rider took to urban roads to escape, putting himself and other road users at risk, so pursuit was discontinued. Enq to ID driver will follow.”
