Councillors took part in the Great British Spring Clean by tidying up their neighbourhood.
North Watford Labour members Asif Khan, Richard Smith, Bilqees Mathoor, and Dennis Watling, spent the weekend picking up litter along the busy St Albans Road.
They also took their rubbish bags and litter pickers to Callowland, Harebreaks, and Goodwood Recreation Grounds, as well as Orchard Park.
Cllr Khan, who organised the event, said: "We litter picked the main parks in North Watford on Saturday and along St Albans Road on the Sunday. It was also good to mark Global Environment Day with clearing up our local parks too."
Newly elected Callowland councillor Dennis Watling added: "I was really happy to spend time making sure our local parks and area were cleared. I know local residents also take part and help, making sure our area looks good too."
The Great British Spring Clean is an annual event organised by a charity called Keep Britain Tidy. This year's event began on May 28 and ends of June 13.
