A lorry driver who stopped off on the M25 to urinate has been fined.
The driver was believed to have stopped on the hard shoulder on the J18 of the M25 in Rickmansworth, so that they could relieve themselves.
While the company for the lorry is unidentifiable, it appears the driver had to stop to pee as the road itself was still empty in the early morning.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire road policing unit says that a traffic offence report was issued and the driver was fined £50.
On Twitter, the unit said: “This is not an acceptable excuse for stopping on the hard shoulder, plan your journey and stop at an appropriate rest area.”
