- A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a collision this morning.

- The emergency services were called to Denham Way in Maple Cross at 7.30am, (June 9) following reports of a crash.

- Police say a motorbike, a Peugeot 3008 and a lorry were reported to have been involved.

- Road closures were put in place and the biker was taken to hospital. Police say his injuries are not believed to be serious at this time.

- The crash caused long delays through Maple Cross, with queues from West Hyde in the south and in Mill End from the north.

- Hertfordshire Highways tweeted at 7.40am: "INCIDENT: #MapleCross A412 Denham Way, heavy delays in the area due to an RTC #AvoidTheQ".
