At long last the sun is here, and just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Watford and the surrounding areas are set to be bathed in sun with temperatures peaking at 23°C by Monday.
The forecast makes for pleasant reading following weeks of overcast weather and rain.
On Saturday temperatures will rise to 19°C by 2pm, however cloud coverage will temper the heat.
On Sunday, the clouds will roll away leaving clear blue skies. By 12pm temperatures are expected to reach 19°C and continue climbing to 21°C by 3pm.
And Monday is expected to be a scorcher. Again, not a cloud in sight and temperatures skyrocketing to 23°C by 4pm.
And good news, the sun is set to continue throughout the following week a blessing following the third coldest April on record and the early May Bank Holiday being the coldest ever.
