A new magical maze is now in place at the Parade, giving shoppers a treat while visiting town.
The maze can be found by the pond and will be up for explorers to visit from today (May 29) until next week Sunday (June 6).
Part of ‘Watford’s Summer of Fun’, prizes will be up for grabs for people who successfully explore the labyrinth and manage to find the mythical knight Eustace II de Watford’s ‘missing belongings’ in the maze.
People successful in completing the maze will also be awarded with a photo certificate and will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win an iPad.
Only groups of up to six people will be permitted into the maze at a time, and there will be a socially distanced queue system in place to ensure visitor safety.
Preparations for the maze were seen in town on Friday (May 28).
Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, previously said: “These special events help bring Watford residents together, and after so long of being unable to see one another, it’s important that we can come together in safe ways such as this.”
