A man who tried to sell Moncler jackets online was allegedly threatened with a knife as he was robbed by two men.
The victim, a man in his 30s, advertised two of the designer jackets for sale through Facebook Market.
Two buyers showed interest in buying the Moncler jackets, and the seller arranged to meet the prospective buyers outside his home in The Pantiles, Bushey Heath, last Wednesday (May 12).
According to the victim, one of the men had asked to try on the jacket before purchasing it, while also asking for his banking details.
But as the men wore the jacket, the two ran off to the direction of Little Bushey Lane and ran into a garden.
The victim claims that at one point before they reached Little Bushey Lane, he grabbed one of the men who then pulled out a knife to the victim and nearly stabbed him.
Meanwhile his pregnant wife and three-year-old daughter were inside looking on.
A spokesperson from Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed that there are reports that the victim was allegedly threatened with a knife.
The force says that while the victim lost sight of the men, he was able to recover both jackets.
Both suspects are described as black men, both dressed in black. The taller of the two had two gold teeth.
As of now, no arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.
Any witnesses or anyone information should call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/35047/21.
