This comes as the Met Office has placed a yellow weather warning, stating that windy weather may lead to some travel disruptions and perhaps some damage to outdoor structures.
The forecaster has said that some delays to road, rail and other forms of transport are likely, with some bus and train services taking longer than usual.
It also warned there could be some delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
Damages to outdoor structures and trees are likely too.
Hertfordshire Highways have been approached to see when the tree will be recovered.
