A man was stabbed in Watford town centre last night.
Police were called to Market Street in Watford at around 9.30pm (May 18) and a section of pavement in the shopping street was taped off.
Pictures taken from a property in Market Street at 9.45pm show three police cars along with an ambulance.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed one man suffered stab wounds and he was taken to hospital.
Police say his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
A 35-year-old man from Stevenage has been arrested in connection with the incident and is in police custody.
The section of road which was taped off is between the junctions of Percy Road and Francis Road.
A group of uniformed officers were seen last night near the police cars while it looks like plain clothed officers were called in as well.
