Beware when our leader speaks of “The People’s Priorities”. Prime Minister Johnson has been using this phrase for years now, especially when he has a tricky and difficult question to answer.
Johnson believed taking the United Kingdom out of the European Union was one of “The People’s Priorities”. However, he seems to have forgotten his other “Priorities to the People” that he announced on the steps of 10 Downing Street on December 13, 2019.
Prime Minister Johnson said that as part of his “Priorities to the People” he was committed to “fixing” social care within one hundred days. Over five hundred days have now since elapsed since that commitment was made.
