A post office branch has reopened with a new postmaster following a major refurbishment.
The Moor Park Post Office in Main Avenue, Northwood, reopened last Thursday (May 6) after extensive refurbishments to modernise the building.
The branch closed on April 14 and was initially set to reopen on May 4 – with anyone needing Post Office services recommended to visit the Tolpits Lane or Rickmansworth branch.
Under control with a new postmaster, there are now extended opening hours from 6am to 10pm Monday to Sundays.
The changes have modernised the branch to offer a “wide range” of Post Office services and products alongside the retail counter.
Graham Simmons, Post Office Network Provision Manager, said: “The new look store looks bright and modern. The new Postmaster is now providing longer opening hours.”
