Sir Elton John was spotted enjoying Watford win 2-0 against Swansea City at Vicarage Road in the last game of the Championship season.
The Hornets, who are Premier League bound, took all three points thanks to second half goals from Andre Gray and Isaac Success.
Elton John, who fell in love with the club growing up in Pinner, north London, was chairman and owner of the club during its ascent from the Fourth Division to the First Division in the 1970s and 1980s.
He stepped down as chairman in 2002 but has remained heavily involved with the club, holding fundraising concerts at Vicarage Road in 2005 and 2010, and following the club avidly.
Today he enjoyed Watford's 27th win of the season in a 91-point campaign which secured the Hornets return to the top flight at the first time of asking.
