Motorists in the Watford area are facing disruption as a number of roads are set to be partially closed for roadworks.
A notice published in this week’s edition of the Watford Observer from Hertfordshire County Council details the closures that will affect streets in Bushey, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth and Watford.
All of the orders come into effect on Monday and will last for 18 months. However, the restrictions will only apply at times shown by signs on or near the road.
Part of Cardiff Road, Watford, is due to be closed from Monday to Wednesday, the one.network website states.
The road will be shut from the junction with St James Road south-westwards for a distance of approximately 24m, except for access.
A section of Richfield Road, Bushey, will be closed for 11 days from May 10, according to one.network.
Drivers will be unable to use the road from its junction with Richards Close south-westwards for a distance of approximately 70m, except for access.
Elsewhere in Bushey, Park Road will be affected by a temporary closure from Monday to Wednesday.
The closure will be from a point in line with the southern boundary of No. 68 south-westwards to a point in line with the southern boundary of No. 60, a distance of approximately 23m.
One.network also states part of Rectory Lane, Rickmansworth, is set to be closed on May 18.
The road will be shut from the junction with Parsonage Road south-westwards to its junction with A412 Rectory Road, a distance of approximately 218m.
Vehicles will be prohibited from using Manor Way, Croxley Green, from its junction with Baldwins Lane north-eastwards and north-westwards for a distance of approximately 348m, except for access.
Additionally, there will be temporary no waiting restrictions on both sides of the road while the works are carried out.
