Multiple drivers will be receiving a fine in the coming days after being caught going well over the speed limit along a busy road.
Officers from the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire (BCH) Road Policing Unit were on patrol on the A41 in Watford on Wednesday afternoon to check motorists were abiding by the 40mph speed limit.
Whilst most stuck to the limit, several drivers were clocked by a speed gun going over 60mph.

We found most drivers observed the limit, however those that didn't can expect points and a fine.

The minimum penalty for speeding is a £100 fine and three penalty points added to a driver's licence.
