A new escape room and virtual reality venue located at Atria Watford is ready to soon launch.
Escape Hunt Watford, described as "immersive and exciting" escape room adventures for teams of two to six people, is set to officially open on May 17 in accordance with the government roadmap of easing restrictions.
With the opening date confirmed, the venue is now taking bookings for their indoor, outdoor and virtual reality adventures.
There are a series of different escape room games (suitable for ages eight and over) and virtual reality games (suitable for ages 12 and over).
Indoors there are four escape room games, with themes ranging from Alice in Wonderland, WWII, ancient Japan and the Wild West.
Three virtual reality games are also on offer which will involve players solving puzzles and racing against the clock.
There are also two outdoor games, one that involves a team trying to find an anti-virus to save the world, and one where players must close a magical portal.
Vicki Costello, centre director at Atria Watford said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome Escape Hunt to the centre and expand our fantastic leisure offering within Watford town centre.
“Escape Hunt looks brilliant fun for families, friends and businesses and I can’t wait to get the team together to have a go. I would like to wish them all the very best.”
Escape Hunt has taken a ten-year lease at the unit, and the addition to Watford’s shopping centre was first announced in November last year.
