An air ambulance was deployed after a minibus crashed into a tree in Bushey.
Emergency services were rushed to The Avenue on Wednesday afternoon after being called to a road traffic collision around 2.40pm.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says it was informed by the East of England ambulance service that a minibus had collided with a tree.
Officers attended to help with traffic control while paramdeics worked at the scene.
Two people – the driver and a passenger - had been in the bus at the time and were not believed to be seriously injured.
The East of England Ambulance service said two patients were taken by land to Watford General Hospital.
A spokesperson said: “Two ambulances and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance attended a road traffic collision on the junction of The Avenue in Bushey just before 2.45pm yesterday [Wednesday 14 April].
“Two patients were transported by land to Watford General Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
The vehicle was recovered and the scene was clear by 4.45pm.
