Watford and the surrounding areas will be basking in sunshine and warmer temperates next week as weather forecasts have predicted a mini heatwave.
This might not come as a surprise to some considering the fluctuating temperates we've seen so far this year.
On Monday April 19 there will be light cloud and gentle breeze with highs of 15C.
But as the week continues temperatures will rise to highs of 17C and Thursday will be 18C with sunny intervals and a gentle breeze.
This will be good news for all those who are eager to get out and about and enjoy the cafe culture on our streets once more after lockdown restrictions eased this week.
The news comes following a cold snap earlier this week which saw Watford and many areas of Hertfordshire get light snow showers.
Before next week's heatwave temperatures will hover between 11C and 13C on Friday and Saturday before rising to 15C on Sunday - with sun and cloud expected for all three days.
