Watford's rapid coronavirus testing centre has relocated ahead of new rules which will allow anyone to access a test.
The new facility is up and running by the Charter car park in Atria Watford and will be there everyday until at least April 18, according to Hertfordshire County Council's online booking system.
The testing site is for people with no coronavirus symptoms and designed to find cases in people who unknowingly have Covid.
Results are delivered within one hour and catching the cases quickly helps slow the spread of the disease.
Over the last couple of months, rapid testing sites have been primarily used by key workers and those unable to work from home - but Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced at the weekend everyone will have access to two free rapid tests a week from Friday.
More details are expected to be released today about how the expanded rapid testing programme will run across Hertfordshire, but it appears at least one new permanent base has been set up in Watford town centre, having most recently been in The Parade.
Swabs will be available at the testing site but the council website says swabs in Watford will be self-administered - although someone will be on hand to provide guidance.
However, any slots must be booked via the county council's website.
Slots are available from 8.30am and into the evening, but go because it is a first come first served basis. It remains to be seen how the new centre will take a higher number of vistiors now that restrictions have been eased on who is eligible for a test.
It is important no one with Covid symptoms visits a rapid testing centre, while rapid tests at council sites are only available to people aged over 16.
The full address for the new rapid testing site in Watford is 29 Watford High Street, WD17 2DJ, which is situated on the 1st floor by Charter Car park in Atria Watford (formerly intu Watford).
Other sites in Hertfordshire are available via the booking system.
