An air ambulance landed in Cassiobury Park as emergency services rushed to the aid of a man suffering from a wound at a nearby address.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says it was called to reports that a man had been injured at an address in The Gateway, Watford, on Sunday afternoon (March 28).
Police found the man had sustained a wound to the stomach when they arrived.
The ambulance service was also called to the scene and an air ambulance landed at Cassiobury Park.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
It has been established that there was no third-party involvement and the injury was accidental, police said.
