Hi, my name’s Luna and I’m a very affectionate 18-month-old Mastiff Cross. I was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust in February as my owner couldn’t cope with my size or give me the time and training that I need.

I need a strong, experienced owner who has owned large breed dogs in the past. I’m a big, strong girl who will pull towards and bark at other dogs so you’ll need to be physically strong enough to manage me and patient enough to continue my socialisation. The good news is I love treats and human attention so am very responsive to reward-based training.

Although I can be silly around other animals, I just adore humans. If I could fit, I would sit on your lap. A sweet and friendly girl, I love to be stroked and groomed. I need a home where somebody is in most the day to keep me company, although I’m fine being left for a couple of hours.

I can live with adults or families with children aged 14 and over but would need to be the only pet in the home.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; given an individual training plan and four free weeks of Petplan insurance.
