Police are investigating after a man was spat at before being punched in the face.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says the man, who is in his 50s, was attacked in The Moatfield in Bushey on Monday, March 22, around 6.30pm.
A group of eight to nine young males rode past the victim on electric scooters before one of them spat at him, the force said.
When the man challenged this, another member of the group punched him in the face.
The male who spat at the victim is described as mixed race and between 13 to 14 years old. The male who punched the victim is described as white and also around 13 to 14 years old.
Enquiries are being carried out into the common assault and any witnesses or anyone with information should call the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference 41/20762/21.
