A busy road is set to close as roadworks are carried out.
Hertfordshire County Council is carrying out resurfacing works in Courtlands Drive, Watford, from tomorrow (March 8) to Tuesday, March 9.
The work, which is being done by council contractors Eurovia, will start at 9.30am and finish at 4pm across both days.
A letter sent to residents, which is available on the One.Network website, read: “Vehicles may not be allowed access through the road closure during the works, except for emergency vehicles.”
The road will need to be clear of parked vehicles for the work to be carried out.
Residents who need to use their vehicles are being asked to move it outside of the road closure area at least 30 minutes before work is due to start.
Anyone who is unable to move their cars due to coronavirus reasons can phone Eurovia on 07703 796403 and they will arrange to have the vehicle professionally relocated free of charge.
The letter added: “We understand these works may be an inconvenience to you, however, we ask you to support us as we make the necessary improvements.”
