The following death announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week:
Aileen Bottoms (nee Bennett) – Sadly passed away on 23rd February 2021 aged 89, at Watford General Hospital after a short illness. A much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be greatly missed by family and friends. Reunited with her beloved late husband Bob.
Jeffrey Dymond – Jeffrey passed away peacefully on 15th February, aged 71 years. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
ALLAN HALL – Sadly passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on 24th February 2021 aged 91. Allan will be especially remembered for his football career with Oxford United and his 17 years as secretary at Watford Bowls Club. A true gentleman, Allan will be deeply missed by his wife Jo, his children Neil, Phil and Debbie and all of his family and friends.
JANET KIRBY – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 9th February 2021 aged 88 years. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Moran Helen Mary ‘Marie’ – Sadly passed away suddenly on Friday 19th February 2021 aged 76 years. A loving mum and nan who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Reunited with Husband Martin.
Thwaites Mavis Irene – Sadly passed away on Sunday 7th February 2021, aged 89 years. A much loved mum, nanny and friend to many. Mavis will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Veale Gerald (Gerry) – Sadly passed away on Friday 26th February at the Peace Hospice, aged 84 years and two days before 45th Wedding Anniversary to adored wife Sue. A kind man, always keen to help others and a great practical ‘fixer’ – many benefited from his skills and know-how over the years. He will be deeply missed by all including daughter Emma and son Tim.
FREDA YALLOP – Sadly passed away peacefully 5th February 2021, aged 91. Loving Mum, Nan, Sister, Auntie and Friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
