People in Kings Langley have been left without water after a burst water main.
Affinity Water says it has now fixed a burst water main on The Common which affected the Kings Langley area (WD4) and caused shortages.
Water flow would have returned sometime after 11.30am today (March 5).
Earlier today, Affinity Water said: “We’re really sorry you haven’t got any water. We’ve been made aware of a burst water main on The Common which may be causing this.
“Our repair team are working hard to fix the burst pipe and get your water back to normal. Once we know how long this will take, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.”
While water should have returned in most Kings Langley homes now, Affinity Water has warned that water may appear discoloured or cloudy.
Affinity Water said: “If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.”
