Parking restrictions have been introduced near a primary school after neighbours raised concerns about "dangerous" parking in the area.
Restrictions have been implemented by Watford Borough Council near Holy Rood Catholic Primary School with the scheme coming into force last week.
A mixture of single and double yellow lines have been painted in the area including at the bottom of Greenbank Road and on a bend in Hemingford Road which Nascot ward councillors say will make a junction safer and improve visibility.
Councillor Mark Watkin said: "I welcome these small but significant improvements. It has taken a long time to have these lines implemented but we have never given up pressing for road safety on behalf of the Greenbanks community."

The councillors added that members of the Courtlands Residents Association had pressed for new parking restrictions at school drop-off and pick-up times because "dangerous" parking has become a "common feature" in the neighbourhood.
Drivers will not be allowed to park or wait on the new single yellow lines in the area between 8am and 9.30am, and 2.30pm and 4pm on weekdays.
Watford Borough Council enforcement officers will be patrolling the area, particularly when schools fully reopen again.
