Rickmansworth Aquadrome has now fully reopened after parts were shut off for two weeks in response to flooding incidents.
The Aquadrome was shut between February 1 and last Friday (February 5) due to safety concerns from people ignoring measures in place to fence off flooded areas.
Three Rivers District Council initially fenced off some areas after flooding incidents between January 30 and 31, and “prompt action” was then taken when people began to ignore the fencing.
And while the Aquadrome partially reopened on February 5, some areas of the park were closed off with clear signage up until today (February 15).
From this morning all parts of the Aquadrome, including Ebury play area, have reopened.
The areas were fenced off after the initial flooding as water levels remained high at the time.
