The following death notices were carried in the Watford Observer last week:
Albert Agutter – Albert died peacefully in Yeovil Hospital on January 5th 2021 aged 100 years. Resident of Bushey from 1949 – 2001. Beloves husband of Joyce (deceased), father of David and Helen, grandfather of Simon, Jane, Tom (deceased), Graham and Mark. Great grandfather of many.
ATKINS Jacqueline Joan (known as Jackie) – Sadly passed away on Thursday 14th January 2021, aged 65 years. Loving wife of Terry, mum of Stuart and David, nanny and sister, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
AVIS Alan Victor – Sadly passed away on 9th January 2021, aged 91 years. He will be forever missed by wife Doris, sons Graeme and Jeremy and all of his loving family and friends.
BARKER Heather Margaret – Sadly passed away 7th January 2021 aged 73. Much loved wife and mother who will be missed by all family and friends.
IAN BINKS – Died Friday, 8th January 2021 in Watford General Hospital. Aged 77 years. Ian, without complaint, had lived stoically alongside his many underlying and long term health conditions only to succumb to Covid 19, after a six day illness. Ian was the beloved and devoted husband to Cathy, extra special Dad to Katrina and Lorraine and a loving Grandpa to Kurt, Michael, Shannon, Sean and Ryan. We will keep you close in our hearts by the love we feel and the memories we have made.
BOOTH Maureen – Sadly passed away on Thursday 31st December 2020, aged 84 years. Reunited with Husband Derek. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Olive Hilda Budden – Died peacefully at Croxley House care home on 9 January 2021, aged 94. Artist and illustrator. Much loved mother of Stephen and Philip, mother-in-law to Sharon and Sue, grandma to Lauren, James and El and sister/sister-in-law to Mary and Philip. Will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
COOPER Lionel Martin – Sadly passed away on Sunday 17th January aged 79. A much loved husband, father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
CORDERY DEREK (DEL BOY) – Sadly passed away at home on the 12th Jan 2021 Aged 80 yrs. A loving Husband to Carole for 59 years, Dad, Grandad (Pop), Brother, Father in Law, Brother in Law, Uncle and Friend. So dearly loved and missed by all.
JAMES NICHOLAS DRYLAND – Sadly passed away on 5th January 2021, aged 68 years old. He leaves behind his wife Fiona, his daughters Penny and Nicola, his stepson Toby and his grandchildren Bethany, Ruby, Isla and Loch. A wonderful man who will be missed by all his family and friends.
Michael Barry Foster – 30.09.41 – 04.01.21 – Beloved husband, father and grandfather. Sadly missed but forever in our hearts. May you always have an angel by your side. Love forever and always, Pat, Claire, Stewart, Lewis, Matthew and Joanna.
HOWIE – John David Rankin – Sadly passed away on Wednesday 6th January 2021 aged 80 years. Loving husband of Lesley, dad of Peter, grandad and brother. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Mullins James Edward – Of Chaucer Close, died at Hemel Hempstead General Hospital on Monday, 4th January 2021, aged 68 years. Beloved husband, father and grandad who will be sadly missed by all.
Luigi Domenic Obertelli – 28th July 1926 – 6th January 2021 – Lugi was a business man and was well known in the Stanmore-Bushey-Watford area. He retired to Portugal for 20 years but when his wife Teresa died he came back to the UK to live with his daughter and son-in-law. He died at Watford General of Covid-19 aged 94. He leaves a daughter, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our father, Peter John Parmenter – He really was the greatest man, loved by all he met. Remembered fondly by all. We are proud to call him our father. We will love you forever and always, until we meet again, shine brightly Dad xxx 5th August 1951 – 12th January 2021.
QUINN Michael John – Michael ‘Mick’ Quinn sadly passed away on 31st December 2020. A much loved uncle and great uncle, formerly of Odhams and Watford Town Cricket Club. He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and all who knew him.
Senior Ann Jennifer ‘Jenny’ – Passed away peacefully on 6th January 2021 aged 85 years. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
SMITH ROBERT – Passed away on 5th January 2021, aged 97 years. He will be very sadly missed by all his family and all who knew him.
VICARY John Edward – Sadly passed away on Wednesday 6th January 2021, aged 84 years. John was much loved and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
