A toy store chain will temporarily shut its branches over Christmas so its staff can spend time with their loved ones.
The Government announced last month that for five days over the festive period when families will be able to join a bubble with two other households.
There will be an ease on certain restrictions such as church services, so Christmas Day services can be held. In light of the announcement, the Entertainer, which has a store in the Watford town centre, says it will closing its stores for three days.
Branches will close at the end of Christmas Eve and will not reopen until December 28, and means its staff will be able to spend time with their families.
Founder and executive chairman at The Entertainer, Gary Grant, said: "Restrictions placed upon people over the last nine months have been incredibly testing and we've dearly missed being able to see loved ones in the ways we would normally take for granted.
"With the easing of restrictions for Christmas, we want to give our staff more opportunity to rest together with their families and loved ones for some quality time."
"Our stores will close on Christmas Eve and will reopen on December 28, giving our employees three of the five days of the eased restrictions period to spend Christmas with the people they cherish."
