Some of Watford's most famous matches have created memorable images that may not have been seen again since they were taken many years ago - until now.
Thanks to the Watford Treasury who have been digging through the archives, we are pleased to bring you our first selection of pictures from some of the club's most fondly remembered games from the past 50 years.

John Barnes has a shot during that historic European campaign, which saw Watford overcome a 3-1 first leg defeat by beating Kaiserslautern 3-0 in the Vicarage Road return to reach the second round
Three seasons later Barnes was celebrating again after scoring as the Hornets won 3-1 at Arsenal in the FA Cup
