A cyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car.
The town hall roundabout in Watford was partially closed after a serious collision which happened this morning (Wednesday).
Police say they were called to a crash involving a cyclist and a Ford Focus at 7.40am.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has said the cyclist sustained life threatening injuries and he was rushed to hospital, where he is currently in a critical condition.

Police remained at the scene of the crash for the morning, carrying out an investigation.
There was a road closure in place from Hempstead Road, causing queues in Langley Road, Stratford Road, and Alexandra Road - but the closure has now been lifted.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Sergeant William Hood, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Enquiries are being carried out to establish the circumstances around the collision. I am appealing for anyone who saw what happened to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured dash cam footage of the incident, or events leading up to it.”
