Two of England’s most versatile pianists will herald the arrival of spring at a concert in Rickmansworth on Saturday, February 29.
Iain Farrington and John Reid will perform an exciting programme of dance-inspired piano duets that will include compositions by Maurice Ravel, Percy Grainger and Igor Stravinsky.
Iain Farrington is a gifted composer and arranger who has performed in most of the UK’s major concert halls, and played at the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. He has worked with many of the country’s leading musicians, including Sir Bryn Terfel, Sir Paul McCartney and Lesley Garrett.
John Reid is a professor at the Royal Academy of Music and is an outstanding chamber musician, soloist and accompanist.
