However, National Rail has just confirmed (at 5.13pm) that all lines are open and services will now begin to return to normal - however, disruption is still to be expected and trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Anyone travelling between Euston and Milton Keynes and further north can expect delays to their journeys - so this includes Harrow & Wealdstone, Bushey, Watford Junction, Kings Langley, Apsley, and Hemel Hempstead passengers.
Numerous services have been delayed or cancelled.
Please be aware, disruption this evening at #Euston. We'll have officers on hand for reassurance. Please try to find alternative routes for travel. https://t.co/Vc7GcDB5Ic
