Hundreds of families came out to support a town's second ever acoustic festival.
Mary Forsdyke Garden and Warren Lake in Bushey was the setting for an afternoon of music and entertainment and with the weather holding out, it was a day full of joy.
Fifty-one artists across four stages positioned around the lake performed to crowds on June 2.
Artists were aged from as young as ten, and they all performed to their own style. Some sang while others played musical instruments.
Hertsmere MP Oliver Dowden opened the festival alongside Mayor of Hertsmere Cllr Alan Plancey.
Dr Raymond Coffer, who organised the event, said: "It was a truly amazing day, with over 50 great local performers - singers, songwriters, poets, artists, Purcell School, theatre groups, jazz combos, and bands. It was a real privilege and pleasure to see and hear so many talented and eclectic acts from our area.
"It was also simply wonderful to see our community come together and residents of all ages have such a great time enjoying each of the four stages that were located around the Mary Forsdyke Gardens and Warren Lake - a unique and intimate venue that lends itself beautifully to our unique and intimate event.
"With this year’s festival being even better than last year's inaugural event, the Bushey Acoustic Festival and Summer Picnic is now plainly firmly established as a free annual event with next year’s already set for June 7."
Mr Dowden added: "It was great to open Bushey Acoustic Festival again this year, alongside Mayor Alan Plancey.
"It was another brilliant day, organised by Raymond Coffer. There were some excellent performances and I would like to say well done to everyone involved."
