A kiosk offering Japanese-style seafood and vegetables has opened at a major supermarket.
Asda Watford has unveiled a new in-store sushi counter operated by Sushi Daily where customers can see artisans prepare the cuisine in front of them.
Shoppers can choose from more than one hundred sushi products including big sharing platters freshly made in an open kitchen.
Chris Good, store manager at Asda, said: “We’re proud to be one of the first Asda stores in the country to introduce a sushi counter. Sushi Daily’s menu has something for everyone, including fish, meat and vegetarian options. Traditional sushi choices include salmon sashimi or tuna nigiri and the Spicy Salmon Crunch Roll is a favourite among the more adventurous.”
Daniel Coole, managing director of Sushi Daily, said: "We are very excited to collaborate with Asda, bringing their customers a new, engaging experience and delicious, handcrafted sushi – it’s a fantastic opportunity for us all"
