A pub has closed to undergo a dramatic facelift.

The Flag on Station Road in Watford has shut down for business while the pub is being remodelled before reopening as an O’Neill’s – an Irish bar.

The pub published news on its website saying it will relaunch the newly-named bar on January 31.

Marketing banners on Facebook and the pub’s website say: “We’re crafting a new look, please bear with us. We’re closing briefly for a facelift – don’t worry it won’t take long.”
