A charity is asking volunteers to help support those with terminal cancer and their families.
Marie Curie is asking people to give up two hours of their time to help fundraise over the festive season.
For many, it will be the last Christmas they will spend with their loved ones.
The money will also help to fund Marie Curie’s information and support service, which provides a life line to people affected by terminal illness across the UK.
Shifts are available in supermarkets, shopping centres and high streets.
For more information on volunteer shifts in your area, visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/collect and sign-up with a friend.
