Morris dancers are inviting people to try a new hobby.

The Wicket Brood Border Morris club in Bricket Wood is inviting people to free taster sessions.

It includes an energetic and vibrant form of Morris Dancing, carried out with sticks, purple and green outfits and face paint.

This year the group took part in a Guinness World Record attempt for the most Morris Dancers performing simultaneously.

The attempt, at the famous ‘Potty Festival’ in Sheringham, Norfolk, saw 369 dancers from across the UK dance for over seven minutes, with Wicket Brood’s band playing. The attempt has recently been confirmed as successful - fantastic news for the side.

The taster session will be held at St.Stephen’s Hall, Station Road Bricket Wood on Tuesday, October 23 from 8pm to 10pm.
