The Conservative candidate in this year’s mayoral elections is “delighted” a number of roadworks could be given the go ahead.
Hertfordshire County Council will hold a cabinet meeting on Monday where the highways works programme will discuss making improvements to roads in the Watford Borough and Three Rivers District.
Mr Jabbour said: "I am delighted about the scale of the new investment made by the county council in Watford's roads and infrastructure.
“I have noticed recently that in several areas across our town the road surface has been significantly improved."
There may be resurfacing work carried out on Balmoral Road, Whippendell Road and the A41 North Western Avenue eastwards towards the Dome roundabout in Watford.
St Albans Road near the Dome roundabout and Bushey Mill Lane at the Longspring junction could have a traffic signal review.
Horseshoe Lane, in Leavesden Green, could be resurfaced with an anti-skid replacement and
Kings Langley Station footpath, Home Park Mill Road, could also be resurfaced.
County Council Cabinet Member for Highways Ralph Sangster added: "I met George and Sarah at County offices recently and I am very impressed by their dedication and commitment in representing residents in Watford.
“I look forward to continuing working together with them."
Woodside council candidate Sarah Hayes, who campaigned to address the issue of safety on the A405, said: "Following the recent snow and the cold weather, our roads have been badly affected and there has been an increase in the number of potholes.
“I gather there is an immediate programme to repair these, and I am very pleased that we have a dynamic team working together with our county council to deliver future additional investment for our area."
Mr Jabbour will battle for the title of Mayor of Watford on May 3 alongside Labour candidate Jagtar Singh-Dhindsa and Liberal Democrat candidate Peter Taylor.
