A person was hit by a train, causing disruption along the line.
British Transport Police were called to Streatham Common station at 6.19am and though officers and the ambulance service attended, sadly a man died at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious at present and and officers are trying to identify the man and inform his next of kin.
The lines between London Victoria and East Croydon have all been re-opened and delays between Watford Junction and East Croydon have cleared..
Trains are now running again between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey after an earlier train fault.

The Arriva 321 bus service will accept London North Western Railway ticket, in both directions.
