The ring road in central Watford was closed this afternoon so an air ambulance could come to the aid of a man believed to have been stabbed in the neck.
Police were called at around 2.30pm today (Monday) to Water Lane after a man was discovered injured inside an address.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said officers and paramedics are currently on the scene. The ring road was closed so an air ambulance could land nearby but is has now reopened.
Enquiries are currently on-going to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this incident.
