Thousands of free tickets will be available for attractions across Hertfordshire, but you will need to register your interest now for the chance to win.
The Herts Big Weekend, April 1 and 2, will make 50 attractions available across the county as various venues open their doors including St Albans Cathedral, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, Rye House Kart Raceway, Paradise Wildlife Park, Knebworth House, Hatfield Park Farm, The XC, Lee Valley White Water Centre, and Natural History Museum Tring.
Last year, more than 13,000 people applied for tickets across the two days, which marks the end of English Tourism Week.
The ballot will be open for three weeks from today, closing before March 3, and you can apply for as many tickets as you like with family tickets or two per household to then be allocated at random.
Visit Herts head of marketing Sinead Hanna said: “The Big Weekend marks the beginning of the tourist season and is a fantastic way to celebrate all that is on offer in Hertfordshire. We want people who live here, who are our biggest advocates, to have the chance to discover something new – and for free.”
UPDATE: After a digital glitch which prevented some post codes, including Watford locations, from entering, all areas in Hertfordshire are now able to submit their entry.
