Kevin Grenfell’s Jazz Giants
Kevin Grenfell started playing trombone at 11 in brass bands in Cornwall. He completed his music degree at Dartington College of Arts – still gigging as much as possible at various events as trombonist and vocalist, fronting his own quartet whilst also working with the ever popular Pete Allen Jazzband. After completing another year of study Kevin qualified as a secondary school music teacher. However, performing and life as a professional jazz instrumentalist proved too hard to ignore so he returned to full-time performing in 2002.

Steeleye Span
Steeleye Span’s not just a legendary name in British music but also a link to the classic days of rock and folk music. Folk rock pioneers Steeleye Span are touring with a new live show. Maddy Prior – the voice of the band – leads a line-up featuring faces old and new. 2014 saw Steeleye Span emerging on new exciting chapter. With the departure of fiddle player and long-standing member Peter Knight the band introduced Jessie May Smart. A departure to what we have come accustomed to with Steeleye Span, Jessie is a young, vibrant talent.
