One of Watford's largest restaurants has mysteriously closed without telling staff or customers who had booked.
Jimmy's World Kitchen, which is in High Street, served its final night two weeks ago before shutting without notice.
Staff turned up the following morning to find the doors closed and customers with reservations were shocked to see a note on the door.
Frustrated customers took to social media for answers with Richard Conian, from Watford, tweeting: "Is there a reason you aren't answering my tweets about Jimmy's Watford? Why is it closed?? Is it closed for good?"
Jasmin said: "What's going on with your Watford branch? Been closed for ages, no info available on your website?"
Sally Sharp had booked a table at the restaurant. She tweeted: "Disgusted last night when I arrived at Watford with my 11 guests for our reserved table to find a sign saying we are closed."
The restaurant chain also closed its Brighton store last month.
There are ten other outlets in the country, with the flagship restaurant at London's O2 arena.
The Observer attempted to reach someone from the buffet chain for more details but nobody responded by the time of going to print.
