Big Screen on the Beach

One of Watford's popular big events is set to go out with a bank this bank holiday with a variety of movies lined, from classics such as Grease (August 27) and Jaws (August 28) to some newer blockbuster hits including Star Wars: The Force Awakens (August 29) and marmalade-loving Paddington (August 28). As well as kicking back on the beach, there are also some fun activities for both grown-up and children to enjoy. There will be a first aid and survival class on August 27 and golf competitions on the same day. For those who like to clown around there is a circus workshop on August 29.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie (15)

Based on the award-winning BBC One comedy Absolutely Fabulous comes the feature length film set in the world of fashion and PR. Starring Lulu and Jennifer Saunders, who also wrote and produced the film, the story follows publicist Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy Stone. They are still shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London's trendiest spots. Whilst attending an elite party, the pair somehow end up knocking supermodel Kate Moss into the River Thames and soon find themselves being relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Will they be able to seek refuge and continue to life the high life?

Here and There

The Chandos Art and Crafts group will be exhibiting their work for the fourth time at the Bushey Museum. The exhibition, entitled Here and There, will feature a variety of paintings, handmade ceramics, fused and stained glass, jewellery and woodturning. Chandos Art and Crafts are a group of 16 artists who regularly get together to host exhibitions.

Wilkestock Festival

The small festival with a big personality that raises money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and Keswick Mountain Rescue. Performing on the main stage this year will be Too Many T's, who have been dubbed as Britain's answer to the Beastie Boys. The duo have been on the music scene for around five years and in that time they have performed with many artists who inspired them including Big Daddy Kane, People Under The Stairs, Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, Ugly Duckling, Asher Roth, Snoop Dogg and many more. Also lined up to perform at the festival are The Mystery Jets, The Hunna, Eliza and the Bear, Elles Bailey, Jocee, Wolffe, Paves, CC and many more.

The Legend of Tarzan 3D (12A)

It has been almost a decade since Tarzan moved to London to live with his wife Jane. But he regresses back to his animalistic roots when he is double-crossed by Leon Rom, a treacherous envoy for King Leopold, who devises a scheme to lure the couple to the Congo. He plans to capture Tarzan and deliver him to an old enemy in exchange for diamonds, however, when Jane becomes a pawn in his devious games, Tarzan returns to the jungle to save the woman he loves.
