Children are now able to enjoy the revamped play area in Rickmansworth.
The Ebury Play Area in Riverside Drive was refurbished by the council and cost taxpayers £200,000.
New equipment aimed at children of all ages and abilities, including a refurbishment of the popular ‘Purple’ play tower, was installed and the play-area was opened on Friday.
More than 500 children and adults visited the park on its first day.
The chairman of Three Rivers District Council, Cllr Eric Bishop, opened the new play-area.
