A community-focused sports club in Bushey has been named as the East Regional Satellite Club of the Year 2015.
Watford Harriers, which is does many of it's activities at Bushey Meads School in Coldharbour Lane, was recognised by Sport England for it's contribution and commitment to engaging young people to take part in sport.
Satellite clubs are a National Lottery funded initiative set up to encourage more young people to participate in sport.
Sport England said the club's coaches were dedicated and with the support of the school, they have attracted around 100 people - both able and disabled - to take up athletics.
Councillor Brenda Batten said: "It is clubs like these that truly benefit the community through creating inclusive and dynamic atmospheres. The initiative is integral in providing youngsters with a higher sense of self-worth and increased wellbeing.
"This club in particular has stood out for its strong partnerships and dedication of all coaches to provide unrivalled quality of experience. I am delighted for them to be recognised in this way."
