Tanks will roll through the streets, gunfire will ring out and condensed milk will be served up as the Lincolnsfield Centre hosts its latest nostalgic wartime show on next weekend.
Preparations are under way for the 1940s family experience weekend at the centre, following the success of the first tribute event, in October.
The event on Saturday, May 12, and Sunday, May 13, will feature battle re-enactments, a 1940's fun fair, over hundreds of military re-enactors and vehicles and an exhibition on the history of the site, which was home to the during the war.
There will also be stalls selling war memorabilia, as well as the chance to meet Harry Sheppey, a traditional rag and bone man with his horse Molly or take in a presentation on animals at war in Farmyard Funworld.
Favourite war time refreshments will be available from the canteen, while musical entertainment will be provided by vocalist, Fiona Harrison, who will be performing renditions of World War 2 favourites in the music hall.
